I studied abroad in Marbella, Spain in 2016 during my junior year of high school. I could not have ever imagined just how much being a Rotary exchange student would change my life. I met so many incredible people that I still talk to today, had two amazing host families who taught me all about their culture, and got to explore some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Learning a second language has been something that is still helpful to this day. I can communicate with so many more people, have more job opportunities, and it showed me that I can truly accomplish anything I put my mind to. I am so grateful to Rotary for giving me one of the best years of my life. I will never forget the time I spent abroad.
